Introduction
The
Depot Services program is a comprehensive approach to effectively manage
customer AIG hardware resources throughout their life cycle. AIG
develops and delivers depot maintenance service solutions for all types
of organizations. Tailored solutions are provided for each customer
based on individual technical, economic and business environments. The
program allows AIG to work with customers to implement a four-step
methodology, which includes:
Evaluating technical business and service requirements;
Making
recommendations for improved efficiency;
Developing
and implementing processes to increase productivity;
Measuring
product and service performance to ensure quality.
The
Depot Services program enables AIG to coordinate, control and manage all
aspects of service delivery, ensuring a measurable improvement in
systems availability and end user productivity while reducing overall
AIG costs.
There
are two 'standard' Depot Service Programs based on the principle of
'back-up' equipment.
The EXPRESS service plan providing for a '48-Hour' repair or replacement is the more
affordable Plan. If the customer has allowed the production load of
the equipment to be light and resilient, the immediate replacement of
a failing unit becomes unnecessary, and a 'fix or replace' of 48 hours
service is more than adequate for his needs.
In the case that the workload is high, and the overnight replacement
must be accomplished, the NEXTDAY service plan becomes the choice.
Providing a '24-Hour' repair or replacement of a failing unit.
But if
the case is that there could not be 'down-time, and the overnight replacement
must be advanced, the ADVANCED REPLACEMENT service plan becomes the
choice.
Service Plans - Basic Contents -
Common to all Plans:
Units under the maintenance plan are covered
for all failure parts, electronic, electrical or mechanical (*). All
parts and labor costs are included.
The plans comprehend a scheduled, individual
alignment and adjustment procedure every other month.
Particular to the EXPRESS Plan:
Units found
by the customer to be failing can be shipped after calling for an RMA
number. A description of the problem along with the units serial number
must be provided.
Units received on a specific date will be tested, repaired and
shipped back to the originating point within 2 business days after the receiving
date.
Units found to be free of defects will generate a charge for
inspection and testing.
All shipping costs (both to and from the repair facility) are the customer's responsibility.
Particular to the NEXT DAY Plan:
Units found
by the customer to be failing can be shipped after calling for an RMA
number. A description of the problem along with the units serial number
must be provided.
Units received on a specific date will be tested, repaired and
shipped back to the originating point within 1 business days after the receiving
date. If unit is not repaired in 24 hrs. a loaner unit will be shipped.
Units found to be free of defects will generate a charge for
inspection and testing.
All shipping costs (both to and from the repair facility) are the customer's responsibility.
The return of the loaned unit (if applies) will be charged by AIG.
Particular to the ADVANCED REPLACEMENT Plan:
Daily (8 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT) Phone attention to detect and correct
possible failures before shipment.
Calls placed before 3 p.m. EDT
Shipment of a replacement
(loaner) unit the same day via Overnight delivery (on request and
subject to loaner unit availability for those clients that qualify).
Failing Unit will receive a RMA (repair order number) and is then shipped to
our facilities. The original, repaired units will be shipped back
within 1 business day of receipt of failing unit. Loaner (if provided,
see above) needs to be shipped back within 1 day of receipt of
repaired unit (rental charges will apply if retained for a longer
period).
No
extra charges for testing non-defective units will be generated.
Site Discount.
Because it is simpler to have a specific site and contact person to
deal with, a special discount is offered when more than 10 units are
unified under a 'site' contract. Look for this discount on your particular
quotation.
Warranty Extension Plan
If within your organization, you have an established set of technical
help, you can protect the investment by acquiring the Extended Warranty
Plan. This plan extends the products warranty given by the manufacturer.
Products, that have a failure due to malfunction, not produced by the
normal usage, will benefit of a free parts replacement and labor
coverage.
Why should you be protected?
Maintaining units is an obligation. Whether you utilize our services,
find a third party or do it yourself, it must be done.
As a unit wears out, it becomes more reliable for a period of time,
and then more fragile. But only in the case of conscious and experienced
maintenance, they can perpetuate their life to its full extent.
Why with us?
Anderson Imaging has excel in more than twenty years of experience in
maintaining electronic and computer equipment. Although AIG only
maintains the equipment that it sold, it has provided it's customers
with unique response and quality time.
AIG keeps a full stock of parts original and proper to the equipment.
Only by doing so, a 2-day turn-around can be offered. Third Parties do
not stock parts for our products.
Be secure.
By contracting our service, you will be able to rest assure that your
customer, or your operation is protected and safe.
