		The LS515 is a peripheral suited to handle banking documents, ideal for  middle-office branch use and also suitable for teller or back-office applications. The LS515 can read MICR (CMC7/E13B) codelines and Barcode, and scan both sides of the document capturing up to 4 images - front & back "brutto" (neutral images) + front & back "netto" (red dropout images for OCR/ICR machine and hand printer decoding requirements ) - in a single pass. Optional functions include document stamping (front & back roller stamp) and variable endorsing by ink-jet printer.  The document is driven through a "U" path; codeline read is done initially, then on the outgoing portion the unit will stamp, print and scan document. The LS 515 has two programmable sorting bins and connection to the system is by a fast SCSI 2 interface. The peripheral offers maximum application flexibility by combining the different functions to be performed on the documents, which can also be moved back for the on the paper path if required by processing needs.
