Overview
AIG Scan incorporates a unique feature that allows the system administrator to establish the operating parameters for the end user and then make a ‘shortcut’ on the desktop that launches only those settings.
The operating parameters are comprised of the various service application settings; zone group definitions for data entry and configuration of image capture and image storage options.
AIG Scan can be configured to scan each check in a batch, read the respective MICR code line data, parse the code line data, automatically read the amount of the checks with ICR, OCR the name and address block from the check and send all of the data to an external database for further processing.
A built in search and retrieval engine is used to retrieve and display check images or checks can be viewed one-at-a-time by browsing in the batch view.
The software has the ability to accept data entry at scan time or in a batch ‘post process’ mode. Flexibility is the heart of the system.
A modular software designed to handle today’s needs and allow provisions for the future.
The AIG Scan software can be configured with a variety of modules that handle a variety of tasks:
MICR Parsing
ICR Recognition of check amounts
OCR Recognition
Barcode Recognition
Computer Assisted Data Entry
Database Import / Export and Connectivity
Image File Conversions and treatments
