Overview
AIG
Mini Scan is a small and robust application capable of handling all features for LS 510,
LS 200 and LS 100 check scanners. With AIG Mini Scan you can scan checks and save the scanned images in JPEG files and the MICR codeline information that is read at scan time is saved into a text based delimited index file.
The
application is divided into two basic parts. The
first part consists of configuring the batch to be scanned and the
second is the execution of the scanning.

Through a very friendly
interface, all aspects of the configuration can be set for
an specific batch.
This configuration is saved
automatically.

The
process of configuring the batch includes the
definition of the following parameters:
Basic text to identify the Batch (Tellers name
,etc.)
Specifying (if needed) the process date
in the batch's name
or the batch identification.
Scan Mode ( Resolution and level of gray scale)
Image Side for Scan ( Front or Front and Back)
Image Quality
Stamp action
Endorse text
Read Codeline
Read OCR
Destination Bin
Scanning
Through
the Main screen of the application, the operator
can execute the scanning process by simply clicking
the Start button.
From there on, AIG
Mini Scan takes charge of the scanning process
and keeps scanning the documents while showing and
saving the images and the MICR data or indexes
obtained into a text file (comma delimited)
along with the path, file name and batch information.

Versions
This
product is suited for only a single scanner model by definition.
The software will only run with the specified scanner (i.e. AIG Mini Scan for LS 100 will only operate with the LS100 check scanner).
