2.
L101: How do I correct the stamping quality?
When the quality of the stamp is no longer adequate,
increase the duration of contact time between inkpad
and paper to return to optimal stamping conditions.
Of course this is only possible when the inkpad has
not completely run out, in which case it must be replaced.
There are three possible variations on contact time.

L101: How does the machine signal problems?
If a problem is encountered while reading a badge

flashing LEDs, as shown in the following table. A
beeper sounds before the LEDs begin to flash if it
is activated by software.

4.
L70: How does the machine signal the problems during
on-line operation during document scanning?
Insert the document in the reader with the CODE LINE
turned as indicated on page 4 of the user guide. Now
the document is read and it is sent to the collection
channel for outgoing documents. The L70 Reader decodes
the CODE LINE sending data to the PC.
_ If during this operation the LED flashes and an
audible “beep is emitted, then one or more characters
from the CODELINE have not been decoded properly.
_ If a paper jam occurs, the LED flashes slowly 3
times and the beeper is sounded. Remove the paper
from the path and restart the scan.

left or left to right until it exits the other end
of the guide
_ The L70 Reader decodes the MAGNETIC STRIPE sending
data to PC
_ If during this operation the LED flashes and an
audible “beep” is emitted, it means the
reader is not able to read the MAGNETIC STRIPE.
