The Company Anderson Imaging Group (AIG) started as the imaging division of Microseal Corporation, a 35 year old, multi-million dollar micrographic organization with hundreds of dealers worldwide. Microseal was sold to Bell & Howell in 1994, and AIG inherited the dealer channels and all rights to the imaging products. In May of 1995 under new ownership, AIG started aggressively to perform in new Market segments, introducing the first 'Microfilm Replacement' complete software package. New products both in hardware and software brought more interest from the public and made AIG a leading company in the Industry. Check Scanners, like the LS5xx series, are having tremendous success. Our new AIGScan software has a growing user base and offers tremendous flexibility in the capture of images and the extraction of data from those documents. Specialized
software products, like DLLs and APIs have a high demand by AIG
customers. AIG dynamic link libraries handle special functions
like optical character reading and recognition of special characters
like MICR's E13B and CMC7.
Market Focus CSD Scanning Systems AIG position as a leading supplier of Check and Small Document (CSD) processing systems provides distinct advantages for our customers. These systems consist primarily of a CSD scanner, controlling software and storage hardware - either together or separately. AIG is an OEM of the European based company CTS. CTS offers the LS-5xx and LM-100 check imaging scanners. The LM-100 is a modular based system that features scanning, automatic document feeding, encoding, endorsing, and output pocket components. The LS-5xx is a lower cost all-in-one system that features an automatic document feeder, single or optional dual side scanning, front and back endorsers, ink-jet printing, and dual output pockets. Imaging Software Power Plus for Windows has approximately. 6,000 installed user seats, with a projected growth for the next 3 years of 10,000 additional user seats. Power Plus ® for Windows is a complete net-workable document management software package. With an easy to use Graphical User Interface, and supporting a multitude of scanners for document capture, Power Plus is one of the easiest, most intuitive document management software systems. Power Plus can store information to hard disks, optical (including jukeboxes), and CD-ROM. Power Plus ® for Windows is installed in all types of industry. The BB+ Publisher ® will work independently of, or cooperatively with, other imaging systems. BB+ will generate CDs that contain imaged documents; index information; sound; movies; and the BB+ Viewer retrieval software. Each CD generated will be "self supporting," meaning that you can retrieve any of these elements from any Windows based computer with a CD ROM drive. Combining these technologies, CSD and BB+ Publisher, AIG can provide a complete solution of scanning, storing and retrieving archived documents. personnel have combined expertise in various computer operating
systems, database technologies, compression technologies, and file
storage techniques that spans over one-hundred-fifty five man years. Incorporating this
experience with AIG's mission, provided the answer to bring
economical information conversion and storage systems to most any
business. And, by maintaining the position that the provided
solution must be non-proprietary in nature, AIG sets itself apart
from our competition. Our President President
and founder of several computer related companies over the last
sixteen years. Initially an engineer at Rockland Systems, NY,
where he was a digital instrument designer specializing in
computer interfaces. Later VP of Engineering at Adret Corporation,
and a consultant for Efratom. He went on to become the owner and
founder of Keydata s.a., the exclusive representative for
McDonnell Douglas Computer Systems, Acer, Commodore and Stratus in
Argentina. Other companies owned by him included Keysoft s.a. and
Keytech s.a., Compression Labs Inc.'s exclusive representative in
Argentina, this group of companies had a total annual income of
more than seventy million dollars. Our VP Founder of Gilligan s.a., a 40 year old manufacturers rep, importer, and distributor. Gilligan s.a. is the largest importer of food related items in Argentina. Gilligan s.a. also represents FRAMA, a Swiss based manufacturer of postal and mail room equipment. Gilligan s.a is a forty million dollar a year, company. Our Manager CSD Applications As owner of Image Scanning of America, he completed a 4.5 million page conversion to electronic imaging for Buenaventura Hospital. Other projects included signature card capture and specialized programming for signature comparison for Rockwell Int'l Credit Union. He got his start at Burroughs where he was lead programmer for imaging applications. He is the origunal responsible for introducing the BUIC CSD scanners and CTS CSD scanners to the North American and South American markets. Our Marketing Manager Sales Manager for California Hi-Tech, a business telecommunications company. Also, General Manger of Irvine Electro Sales, an electronic distribution firm that marketed communications, medical and computer equipment. Worked with TRW Credit Data and Real Estate Divisions in the Cash Application department dealing with Lockbox payments where he introduced several major database enhancements that saved TRW over $3 million in year one alone. Also owned and operated his own business for several years. Our Head of Software Development Head of software engineering for McDonnell Douglas Computer Systems, where he was responsible for the development of System 18 and the ProFour software package. Also head of engineering for Keydata s.a.., where he conducted major operating system software adaptations and interfaces with other computer systems. Our Lead Developer CD-ROM/DVD applications Head of the Pre-mastering Department for Disc Manufacturing Inc. he developed his own software package Disc Detective which is the only commercially available tool to check file image and CD-ROM data for equality and integrity.
